Please ID

If you have a pulmonary condition, you should also have a medical ID bracelet/pendant and a wallet card with health information in case of an emergency (take it from one who has learned the hard way). I use this template for my own personal wallet Medical ID card. A medical ID card can save your life in an emergency situation, but it will only help if you have one that's updated and easy to find!

What's The Purpose?

Why have I have added this page to my website? Asthma has become a part of my life and sometimes it seems like it IS my life. During the difficult times when I'm stuck "on" bedrest and feeling too icky to do anything productive, I am often trying to find ways to get "off" of bedrest (mainly through reading about how to treat and manage asthma more effectively). Here's an interesting way to look at it - the more I'm "on" bedrest, the faster this page will grow! This page serves several purposes - it gives me something nonstressful to do when I'm not feeling well, and it also provides me and others with quick access to resources without going back to Google search (no offense, G-dog).
